Welcome . . . . !This page is for self-reliant outdoors enthusiasts who wish to know more about non-commercial, low-cost travel opportunities created by like-minded folks. Our twenty year old recreation network comprises more than a hundred people from 35 states; many of whom join at least one of our self-outfitted group trips each year. We generally utilize our feet, vans, or water craft for transportation. These 7-14 day long trips are always outdoors and camping-oriented. |

Over 5 Mb of travel information is accessible here, including many trip descriptions, hundreds of photos from places we've traveled, over fifteen years of email newsletters we've sent to travel friends, and other items of interest to fellow travelers. A search engine is included to help you find items of specific interest. The web site design features a hierarchy of short pages like this one that quickly link and load items of interest, hopefully saving time and making your visit worthwhile. With a 56 kb performance modem and a good server connection, every internally linked object should load in 10-20 seconds.
